Ingredients
- 4 tbsp butter
- 10 oz bag marshmallows

- 5–6 cups rice krispie cereal
- For icing: 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp water
- Topping: gummy candy hearts
Instructions
- Grease a cupcake pan thoroughly.
- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter.
- Once melted, add marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Mix in the dry cake mix and remove from heat.
- Stir in rice krispies until coated in marshmallow mixture.
- Spoon into cupcake sections and lightly press down.
- Allow to cool completely before icing.
- For icing, beat together butter and shortening until smooth.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar, followed by vanilla and water until desired consistency is reached.
