  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup margarine
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding (3.4 ounces)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Valentine M&M’s (divided)

Instructions

  1. In a mixer bowl, beat the butter, margarine, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  2. Gradually mix in the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Stir in semi-sweet and white chocolate chips; fold in half of the M&M’s.
  4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  6. Roll chilled dough into balls and place on lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are soft.
  8. Top warm cookies with extra chocolate chips and remaining M&M’s before cooling.
