  • 1.5 pounds white mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté quartered mushrooms with salt and pepper until moisture evaporates (about 7-9 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in cream cheese until well combined, then add mozzarella, half of the bread crumbs, and half of the Parmesan.
  5. Transfer the mushroom mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Prepare topping by mixing remaining bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, and melted butter; sprinkle over mushroom mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
