  • 300g ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise (preferably Kewpie)
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or Korean chili sauce)
  • Chopped green onions
  • Toasted black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef by mixing soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper in a bowl. Add the beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the creamy sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic powder, and sugar in a small bowl. Chill while preparing other components.
  3. In a pot over medium heat, simmer chicken or beef broth with gochugaru, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and salt.
  4. Cook the ramen noodles in the simmering broth until al dente (about 3 minutes).
  5. Grill the marinated beef in a hot pan until caramelized (about 2–3 minutes per side) and slice thinly.
  6. Assemble by placing noodles in bowls topped with broth, grilled beef slices, and drizzled creamy sauce. Garnish with green onions and black sesame seeds.
