  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup M&M candies (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  2. In a stand mixer, cream together the unsalted butter and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and brown sugar, mixing on high speed for about two minutes.
  4. Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Gently fold in M&M candies.
  7. Scoop dough into balls (2–3 tablespoons each), flatten slightly, and place on the baking sheet. Press a criss-cross pattern with a fork and add extra M&Ms on top.
  8. Bake for 9–11 minutes until lightly browned at the bottom; cool on the pan for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
