  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz imitation crab meat
  • 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1/3 C sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 C jalapeño pepper, chopped
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 3/4 C shredded colby jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with old bay seasoning.
  3. In a large sauté pan, melt butter and sauté onion, garlic, and jalapeño until tender.
  4. Add seasoned shrimp, imitation crab, sherry, and chicken broth; cook until shrimp are opaque.
  5. Whisk together sour cream, white pepper, and flour in a bowl; stir into the seafood mixture until thickened.
  6. Mix cooked pasta into the mixture; transfer to a baking dish and top with cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes; switch on broiler until cheese is bubbly.
