  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 ½ Tbsp light brown sugar
  • ½ Tbsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp molasses
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries (preferably Oregon brands)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, and frozen blackberries until smooth.
  4. Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet and season generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the blackberry barbecue sauce over the salmon, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
