  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cajun seasoning (to taste)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package directions; reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Season steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and salt. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side until browned; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and fresh herbs.
  4. Add cooked tortellini and steak back to the skillet, tossing in the sauce. Gradually mix in reserved pasta water and Parmesan until creamy.
