- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
- Optional: 1/4 cup sliced green onions
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and sear for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until cooked through (165°F).
- In the last few minutes of cooking, sprinkle with cheese and optional bacon; cover until cheese melts.
