Description

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 small pita breads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons tahini sauce

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook cooked chickpeas with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and salt for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  2. Warm pita breads in a toaster or oven for 1-2 minutes until soft.
  3. Lay out warmed pita breads flat and evenly distribute the chickpea mixture among them.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, crumbled feta cheese, and drizzle with tahini sauce.
  5. Fold gently to form tacos and serve immediately.
