- 14 oz ground pork
- 1 egg
- 2 small coriander roots
- 2 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup finely diced carrots
- 2 tbsp finely chopped green onions
- 2 dried shiitake mushrooms (soaked and chopped)
- 3 tbsp golden mountain sauce
- 1 pack dumpling wrappers
- 1 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a mortar and pestle, crush coriander roots, black peppercorns, and garlic until fine.
- Mix golden mountain sauce, white sugar, sesame oil, and oyster sauce in a bowl.
- Combine ground pork, sauce mixture, egg, and cornstarch in a blender; pulse until smooth.
- Transfer to a bowl, add crushed spices and diced vegetables; mix well.
- Shape each dumpling using wonton wrappers by adding filling in the center and sealing edges.
- Steam lined with parchment paper for about 10 minutes until translucent.
