Crab Rangoon – Crab & Cream Cheese Filled Crispy Wontons are a must-try appetizer that delivers a delightful combination of creamy crab filling encased in a crispy, golden wrapper.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 6 oz Crab Meat (fresh or imitation)
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • Wonton Wrappers
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and crab meat. Mix in green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until smooth.
  2. Lay wonton wrappers flat and place about 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each. Moisten edges with water and seal tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons in small batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
