Ingredients

  • Box brownie mix or homemade brownie ingredients
  • Semi-sweet chocolate
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Espresso powder (optional)
  • Flour and cocoa powder
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Chocolate chips (for buttercream)
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. If using a box mix, follow the package instructions; if making from scratch, melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate together then combine with sugar, eggs, vanilla, espresso powder, salt, baking powder, flour, cocoa powder, and chocolate chips.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling.
  4. For the strawberry buttercream, beat softened butter until creamy, add powdered sugar gradually along with vanilla extract and heavy cream, then fold in finely chopped strawberries.
  5. Once brownies are cooled, spread the buttercream on top and decorate with chocolate-dipped strawberries.
  6. Cut into squares and serve.
