  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 20 medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 jalapeño (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan covered with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let stand for 12 minutes. Cool under cold water.
  2. Peel the eggs and halve them lengthwise. Remove yolks and mash with mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, and spices until smooth.
  3. Season shrimp with remaining spices and sauté in olive oil until slightly blackened.
  4. Fill egg whites with the yolk mixture using a piping bag or spoon. Top each with a shrimp slice and garnish with jalapeño and chives.
  5. Serve immediately for best flavor.
