  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for green beans)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender (15–20 minutes). Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  2. Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning. Sear shrimp in olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side; remove from skillet. Cook salmon for 4–5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika; simmer until thickened.
  4. Return shrimp and salmon to skillet to coat in sauce; heat through.
  5. Cook green beans in boiling salted water for 3–4 minutes; drain and sauté with butter and garlic.
  6. Serve mashed potatoes topped with salmon and shrimp; drizzle with sauce and garnish with green beans.
