  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • ½ onion
  • 23 carrots
  • 34 cloves garlic
  • Mandu dumpling wrappers
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (tightly packed)
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ cup low sodium beef broth
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Finely mince the onion, carrots, garlic, and ginger using a food processor.
  2. In a large bowl, combine minced vegetables with ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of filling onto each mandu wrapper and seal by folding and pinching the edges.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet and either steam for about 10 minutes or pan-fry until golden brown on both sides.
