  • 20 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • Garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each shell with the cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the dish.
  5. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
